In the Service of Spirit and In the Spirit of Service
Hello! My name is Kai Peters. I Am a Holistic Health Practitioner and the founder of ReiKaiDo. I Am a soul on a mission to aid others in finding a healthy balance in their lives while I simultaneously work on mine. I aim to utilize my life's experiences and lessons learned to help others along their path of health and well-being.
My journey has been an intensive self-study, and study of self. Growing up in a world dominated by "modern" medicine greatly conflicted with my internal dialogue that spoke to me of natural and "alternative" healing methods/therapies. I ignored that internal dialogue in the first season of my life, until my body screamed so loudly at me that I had no choice but to listen.
In 2005, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer, and my life was never the same. No longer did I ignore the messages from within, and I started on a path of self-discovery and self-study that continues to this day.
In 2017, I began training in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of Reiki. In 2018 I completed my Reiki training, as well as becoming an Ordained Minister. I have been a practicing and teaching Reiki Master since then, and in 2020, I began working full time as a holistic health practitioner, and thus, ReiKaiDo was born.
In 2023, I experienced the biggest challenge of my life. I suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and amnesia. Throughout my recovery my internal dialogue kept pulling me back to my natural roots. Once again, and like never before, I began an intensive period of study, rediscovering self-healing and what matters most in life, from the ground up, in a whole new light.
In 2025, I became a Certified Life Coach and reopened my holistic health practice in a new location.
I Am so very blessed to be present and able and humbly offer to share my learnings from my life's experiences and my learnings from working with others.
We live in a wild yet beautiful world, and are surrounded by abuses, DIS-ease, and imbalance. Let's bring some balance back to the world by mindfully feeding our bodies and souls with an intentional focus on what matters most.
Life Matters. You Matter.

Just Imagine Miracles
Hi! I’m Lisa Wassenhove, Co-Owner of ReiKaiDo. I have spent my adult life in service, both to our Nation and to my local communities. My passion and drive is in aiding Foster Care Children and the youth in our community, so that they have an opportunity for a better future. My goal is to help facilitate the community in coming together to provide our youth the experience of sports and the opportunity to feel success.
Through my college studies I earned a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. I served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and have worked 7+ years and counting with the Missouri Department of Social Services. Coaching our local youth league sports teams brings me much joy. My works with the Foster Care system over the years, my love for sports, and the coaching in my early life, by my late father, Jim Wassenhove, have instilled in me a drive and a mission to bring balance and foster a strong foundation with our next generation, through activity in sports.
I grew up extremely involved in sports from an early age, and I learned to harness my skills, find my focus and the importance of school, to push myself towards “something better”, and to regulate my emotions regardless of any life changing circumstances or turbulence going on around me. Sports allowed me to feel greatness, and I gained intimate knowledge that no matter where I was in life, as long as I had sports to focus on, I was “home”. That rings true to this day. I seek to share that knowledge with today’s youth and to help support them in every way possible so that they learn to seize every opportunity they can, and to create for themselves a better life and better world.
